Welsh Whisky Casks — Own a Cask. Shape the Spirit. Leave a Legacy.
Secure your own cask of our Anglesey-distilled single malt whisky, matured under bond in our HMRC-approved warehouse until you decide it is ready to bottle, continue ageing, or transfer ownership.

Why choose our Whisky Cask Programme?
Fermented and distilled entirely in-house for full control and provenance.
Matured under bond in our HMRC-approved warehouse on Anglesey.
Maritime conditions and gentle temperature variation shape the spirit over time.
Small-scale distillery offering a limited number of private casks each year.
Our Whisky
Our single malt whisky is designed with long-term maturation in mind, balancing robustness with elegance. Each cask develops at its own pace, influenced by wood type, filling strength, time, and environment.
No two casks are ever the same — your whisky will be entirely individual, shaped by patience and place.
The Distillery
Located on the Isle of Anglesey, our distillery sits within a coastal landscape known for clean air and strong maritime character. Casks mature in our bonded warehouse, where the local environment subtly contributes to spirit development over time.
As an independent Welsh distillery, we take a hands-on approach at every stage, from distillation through to long-term maturation.

Maturation & Your Options
Each cask includes three years of maturation under bond, the legal minimum for whisky. As your cask approaches its third anniversary, we will contact you to discuss the next stage of its journey.
At that point, you have three clear options:
Bottle your whisky at your chosen strength and presentation. We’ll provide a clear quotation covering bottling, duty, and VAT before you proceed.
Continue maturation to further develop character and complexity. Ongoing storage and insurance can be arranged on an annual basis.
Retain the cask as an asset and transfer ownership to another party, subject to HMRC requirements.
Whatever you decide, we’ll guide you through the process and ensure everything is handled correctly and transparently.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I own the cask?
Yes. You own the cask outright. Ownership documentation is provided, and your cask is stored under bond in our HMRC-approved warehouse until you decide what to do next.
When does the whisky become “whisky”?
By law, spirit must mature in oak for a minimum of three years before it can be described as whisky. Each cask includes three years of bonded maturation, after which your spirit can legally be bottled as whisky.
What happens at the three-year point?
As your cask approaches its third anniversary, we will contact you to discuss your options. You can choose to bottle your whisky, continue maturing it for longer, or transfer ownership to another party.
Are storage and insurance included?
Yes. The cask price includes three years of bonded storage and insurance. If you decide to mature your whisky for longer, ongoing storage and insurance can be arranged on an annual basis.
Can I bottle at cask strength or a higher ABV?
Yes. When you choose to bottle, we will guide you through bottling strength options, including cask strength or dilution to a preferred ABV, subject to legal minimums.
What additional costs are payable at bottling?
Duty, VAT, bottling, and packaging costs are payable when you bottle your whisky. These depend on final strength and bottle yield. We provide a clear quotation before any bottling takes place.
Can I sell or transfer my cask?
Yes. You may transfer ownership of your cask to another party, subject to HMRC requirements. We can guide you through the process to ensure everything is handled correctly.
Can I visit my cask?
Yes — visits can be arranged by appointment. We’re happy to show you the distillery, warehouse, and discuss how your cask is progressing.
