Our Story
Welcome to Llanfairpwll Distillery — an award-winning craft distillery based on the Isle of Anglesey (Ynys Môn) in North Wales.
We produce small-batch Welsh spirits inspired by our island home: from juniper-led gins and seasonal infusions, to pure cane molasses rum and the beginnings of our own Anglesey single malt whisky.
From Kitchen Experiment to Island Distillery
Llanfairpwll Distillery began as a passion project — a simple idea to create something distinctive, locally rooted, and proudly Welsh. What started with small experiments soon grew into a fully working distillery producing spirits that reflect the character of Anglesey: coastal, bold, and full of story.
Today, we distil on site in Llanfairpwll, welcoming visitors from across Wales and beyond to discover how true craft spirits are made.

Everything we do is shaped by where we are. Anglesey is an island of sea air, wild botanicals, historic landmarks, and a strong sense of community.
Our spirits celebrate this connection to place — from collaborations like our Menai Oyster Gin, to the lighthouse-inspired range of Anglesey Rum Co. Each bottle is designed to carry a little piece of Ynys Môn with it.
We’re also proud to be one of the only distilleries in Wales producing rum from scratch on site — fermented, distilled and crafted here on Anglesey from pure cane molasses.
Our Spirits
Llanfairpwll Distillery Gin
Our gin range includes classic dry styles, fruit-led seasonal releases, and unique Anglesey creations — always crafted in small batches with a focus on balance, freshness and quality.
Anglesey Rum Co
Our rum is distilled from pure cane molasses right here on Anglesey, producing smooth white, golden, spiced and dark expressions inspired by iconic local lighthouses.
Draig Môn Spirits
Alongside our flagship Llanfairpwll Distillery releases, we also produce Draig Môn Spirits — our modern, accessible house range of Welsh-made spirits.
Crafted here on Anglesey, Draig Môn offers a vibrant collection of gins, vodkas and rums designed for everyday enjoyment, cocktails, gifting and local hospitality venues across Wales.
It’s our way of making high-quality island spirits available for every occasion — from relaxed serves to unforgettable celebrations.
Wisgi Môn (Coming Soon)
We are also laying down casks of our own Anglesey single malt whisky — a long-term project rooted in patience, craftsmanship and island identity. These casks mark the beginning of our future Wisgi Môn releases.
