Since opening our distillery on Ynys Môn, our gins and rums have received recognition from leading national and international competitions. Our latest successes in 2026 mark one of our strongest years to date, with four awards across our Anglesey Rum Co range.

Every rum we entered into the 2026 London Spirits Competition received a medal. Llanddwyn Spiced Rum led the way with an outstanding Gold Medal and 92 points, while Skerries Dark Rum received Silver and South Stack Golden Rum received Bronze.
Skerries Dark Rum was also independently recognised with a 1-Star Great Taste Award in 2026, giving it two major awards in the same year.

SALSA — Safe and Local Supplier Approval — provides reassurance to retailers, distributors and hospitality customers that robust systems and procedures are in place throughout our production operation.
For our trade partners, this provides additional confidence that our award-winning Welsh spirits are produced professionally and consistently at our Anglesey distillery.

Our awards reflect the work that goes into producing distinctive Welsh spirits with a genuine sense of place.
From our Llanfairpwll Distillery gin range to Anglesey Rum Co, our spirits are produced at our distillery on Ynys Môn using carefully selected ingredients, Welsh water and recipes developed by our own team.
Our Anglesey Rum Co range is particularly important to us. We ferment pure cane molasses here at the distillery before distilling and, where appropriate, maturing the spirit on Anglesey — producing Welsh rum from scratch rather than simply flavouring or rebottling imported spirit.
