At Llanfairpwll Distillery, sustainability isn’t a target — it’s part of everything we do. From how we distil to how we source, bottle and deliver, we’re committed to minimising our environmental impact and supporting our island community.

⚙️ Efficient Distilling

Our modern Genio GStill uses advanced energy-efficient technology to reduce water and power consumption.
Its closed-loop cooling system recycles water, cutting usage by up to 80% and lowering our carbon footprint batch after batch.

🌾 Local Sourcing

We believe the best spirits come from close to home.
Our gins use fruits and botanicals grown on Anglesey, including produce from Hooton’s Homegrown — our neighbouring farm.
We use pure Welsh water, naturally filtered through the island’s geology, giving every spirit a true taste of place.

♻️ Circular Economy

Our rum is made from scratch using pure cane molasses, fermented and distilled entirely on site.
Nothing goes to waste — all organic by-products are reused by local farmers as nutrient-rich feed.
We also offer 5 litre refill containers across several ranges to reduce single-use packaging.

We’re reducing waste at every step:

• Recyclable glass bottles, closures, and paper labels
• Locally printed packaging to cut transport emissions
• Eco-friendly flexi-hex materials in shipping and trade deliveries
