Own Your Own Rum Cask

A rare opportunity to lay down your own cask of rum, distilled, filled and matured on Anglesey.

At Llanfairpwll Distillery, home of Anglesey Rum Co, we produce rum entirely from scratch using pure cane molasses, long fermentations and slow distillation. We are now offering a limited number of private rum casks, matured on site under our care.

Whether you’re marking a milestone, planning for the future, or simply want to follow the journey of a cask over time, private rum cask ownership offers something truly special.

From Molasses to Cask – Made On Site

Unlike many rum producers, we control the entire process in-house:

• Fermented from pure cane molasses
• Distilled on our state-of-the-art hybrid still
• Filled and matured on site at Llanfairpwll Distillery
• Carefully monitored throughout maturation by our distilling team

This hands-on approach allows each cask to develop its own unique character, influenced by distillation style, cask choice and our coastal Anglesey environment.

Cask Sizes Available

We currently offer private rum casks in the following sizes:

• 30 litre cask
• 55 litre cask
• 110 litre cask

Smaller casks allow for a more interactive ownership experience and faster flavour development, while still delivering complexity and character over time.

Availability is limited and subject to stock.

Maturation & Ownership

Each private rum cask includes:

• New make rum filled at an appropriate cask strength
• Secure on-site maturation at Llanfairpwll Distillery
• Individual cask records and fill documentation
• Ongoing care and monitoring throughout maturation

Owners are welcome to discuss maturation options, cask types and expected flavour development with our team.

Bottling Your Rum

Once your rum has reached maturity, we can arrange:

• Bottling on site
• Bespoke labels (subject to approval)
• Duty, VAT and bottling costs calculated at bottling stage

Alternatively, casks can continue to mature for longer periods if desired.
